Ohio's Governor Absolutely, Positively Does NOT Want to be Obama's VP

Interviewed on NPR, Ohio's Governor Ted Strickland moved away from Barack Obama like Superman avoiding kryptonite. Like a Hippie avoiding a bath. Like Michael Moore avoiding a salad! Heh.

Hailing from one of the most important swing states, Strickland had been one of the most talked about VP possibilities for Obama, but asked if he is auditioning for the job, he was Shermanesque in ruling it out.

"Absolutely not. If drafted I will not run, nominated I will not accept and if elected I will not serve. So, I don’t know how more crystal clear I can be," he said.

VP is an excellent staging area for a Presidential run. Does Ted have baggage he knows would come out in the Presidential proctological probe? Is there something about Obama Ted finds less than winsome? Or does he just not want to go down with the good ship B.H. Obama this November? He seems awfully adamant that he does NOT want the job! What does he know that we don't?
