Googlegate?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Welcome to everyone who came to see the racier picture! It's hard PG-13!

Google has been alleged to lean somewhat to the Left, and they have been criticized for the conspicuous absence of graphics in their logo to commemorate a number of patriotic holidays.
But this example of bias is rather troubling. Over at Talking About The Weather, there seemed to be some discrepancies between what the search algorithm is doing now, compared to when "Climategate" started. With over 30 Million hits on a climategate search, it seems odd, given the interest in the subject, that "Google suggest" would stop "suggesting" it!

It seemed as though the word "climategate" had been selectively removed from Google suggest. I decided to try it myself.

I typed "climate" and Google suggested "climate change". When I got all the way to "climategat", it suggested "climate Guatamala".

How odd...
