Quote du jour

The top rate of its (California) individual income tax is 10.3 percent, the second-highest in the country. A single middle-class worker earning just $48,000 pays a top rate of 9.3 percent, which is higher than the rate for millionaires in 47 other states.

  1. And they still can't make ends meet by taxing the "Once" sixth largest economy in the world. I heard my Congressman, Tom McClintock, refer to Sacramento as a bunch of morons yesterday.

    1. It's so nice to know that I'm paying the same tax rate as millionaires. We dropped from sixth largest to seventh, and now, I believe we are hovering around "eighth", but I haven't checked lately, so we may have slipped farther down the list.
