Quote du jour

It’s very weird to live in a society where mass death is important insofar as it serves the political needs of the dominant ideology. A white male loner killing white kindergartners in Connecticut is news; a black doctor butchering black babies in Pennsylvania is not.
- Mark Steyn

    RIGHT....

Do mind letting US know when babies were butchered in Pennsylvania and not covered by the news? Where did the twit Steyn hear of this, by any chance the national news?

Or is the twit Steyn making this up too (to be provocative)?

Honestly; don't know which is sorrier, the twit Steyn or your endorsing his lies?

    2. Since this was never reported on MSDNC or written about in the NYT I think it is safe to assume she hasn't heard or read about it.

    3. Dear Ema! You are quoting me again, which, for you, may be the beginning of wisdom! Let me see if I can make this simple enough for small children, fools and Ema Nymton (but, I repeat myself!)

You keep quoting me: does that mean that you endorse what I have said? Keep thinking my thoughts after me, Ema, and someday, perhaps, you may have actual thoughts of your own?

Ema: If you can tell us with a straight face that there has been commensurate (look it up) coverage in the MSM between the horrors of Kermit the Butcher's abortion clinic and the Sandy Hook shootings, that only means you have switched to an industrial strength Botox. Most of the coverage of Gosnell has not been in the national news, but in the blogosphere, which included a photo of row upon row of empty seats reserved at trial for the media who were AWOL on this story.

Oh, and BTW, it wasn't just babies that Gosnell butchered, (and sliced off souvenirs he kept in glass jars), it was young women expecting a "safe and legal" abortion. Not surprising that you don't know the details of the case, unwittingly proving Steyn's point!

Perhaps the reason that you did not get Steyn's point, nor mine, when I make them, is because you are pointless yourself, Ema.

I don't have to "make this up" to be "provocative", it is self evident. Have a nice life!

    4. Perhaps, Sheik, if Obama had only invited the parents of the young woman, who died recently amidst the filth of a "safe and legal" abortion clinic, up to the White House and flown them in on Air Force One, the MSM might have taken notice?

  3. Sad butt true Mark. Ema, we had to search for the baby story, but we were hammered by the other. Dead babies are what liberals like and guns they do not.

    1. Had Gosnell only killed the babies (and an occasional mom) with an AK-47 and sliced off their hands and feet with an attached bayonet, it might have been raised into liberal consciousness.

"... a black doctor butchering black babies in Pennsylvania is not (sic: news)." - the lie.

What is sadder; your knowingly allowing yourself to be lied to and passing on the lie, or your wanting the lie to be true? (This is eerily similar to the "You didn't build that" lie.)

Again the question, what does it say about you that you are willing to allow yourself to be lied to? And that you are knowingly willingly endorsing the lie!

    1. You quoted me again, Ema, so congratulations on starting out by sounding intelligent! (And, obviously, from your point of view, endorsing me!) I do not allow myself to be lied to. I am perfectly willing to fact check any of your comments, Emetic, should you ever attempt to make a factual argument.

Where is the lie? Where is your evidence that any of the facts about your fellow liberals, which you find distasteful or inconvenient, is not 100% true? Are you geographically challenged that you do not believe Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania? Do you not believe that Kermit Gosnell is not a doctor? Do you not believe he is black? Exactly which parts of reality push you into the most denial, Ema?

Be specific. Cite actually evidence for a change. (Stop laughing!)

Did I not type slow enough for you?

One more time; the lie. "... is not (sic: news)."

      - The story was being covered by local news since the beginning. Your not hearing about the investigation is the fault of your Murdoch Media/Fox Networks (you already knew this). Now that MM/FN has finally soiling themselves over it, you hysterically pass the lie that no one is covering the story.

As you allow yourself to be lied to for expedience sake, do not act surprised when you are lied to. It does appear that you subscribe to the theory, "It is not a lie if one want to be true." Facts, truth, justice, and the American way be damned.

What is sadder; your knowingly allowing yourself to be lied to and passing on the lie, or your wanting the lie to be true? This is eerily similar to the "You didn't build that" lie you so willingly played your sorry part in.

What does it say about you that you are willing to allow yourself to be lied to? And that you are knowingly willingly endorsing the lie!

Oh I know, your out will be, "My printing a quote of something someone else had said hardly means I endorse it." (Posted by Proof to Proof Positive at April 19, 2013 at 11:52 AM)

    3. Once again, you quote your betters, and once again I commend you for it. As to your typing speed, I'd guess it might appear Warp Factor 8 compared to your thinking process (and I use the word "thinking" quite loosely here). Merely repeating the same horse hockey argument you made before does not constitute "evidence", dear Ema.

" The story was being covered by local news since the beginning" So, are you contending that, had the Sandy Hook shooting been covered by all of the media resources of Newtown CT, and none other, that the MSM would have fulfilled their journalistic responsibilities?

Did you not look up the word "commensurate"? Or were there just too many other words there you didn't understand for you to comprehend it properly?

"Your not hearing about the investigation is the fault of your Murdoch Media/Fox Networks" You've wandered into tinfoil hat territory here, Ema. Since when does Rupert Murdock, (no matter how scary he is in your imagination), dictate the editorial and journalistic decisions in the NYT, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, PBS and all the other alphabet soup that makes up the MSM?

And, I suppose it is too much to ask, but do you have even so much as a shred of evidence for your batsh*t crazy, liberal whackadoo (but I repeat myself) conspiracy theory? (Stop laughing!)

Ema, I've said it before, but it bears repeating: Have you ever considered getting professional psychiatric help, before you hurt yourself or someone else? Just remember: "Rupert Murdock made me do it" is only useful as an insanity defense.

Now, be a good little drone, and wipe the spittle flecks off your monitor and prepare for your next fact free and pointless rant.

    1. You've quoted me again, Ema. In what passes for your mind, you have endorsed me over and over, right? You keep bleating about "lies", but you've never actually been able to come up with one iota of evidence that anyone has lied here, other than you yourself, Emetic.

If you ever want to impersonate an adult, Ema, try making a factual argument that you can actually back up. Otherwise, keep bleating your lies and name calling, because, apparently, that's all you've got!
