Quote du jour

During the first 13 centuries after the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem, no one thought of setting up a creche to celebrate Christmas. The pre-eminent Christian holiday was Easter, not Christmas.

  2. Thank you kindly! The same to you and yours! (And don't bite the ears off the chocolate bunnies!)

  3. Chocolate, they say is a "comfort" food. By biting the ears off the bunny first I get my aggressions out of the way and then feel the comfort of yummy, yummy sweetness. Are you trying to steal my joy?

  4. Anything we can do to assuage your aggression is a good thing! Carry on!

  5. There is a quote that has been attributed to Katherine
Hepburn which goes like this: “What you
see before you, my friend, is the result of a lifetime of chocolate.” I bear no resemblance to the great Hepburn
but I am happiest knowing there is chocolate in the house. I hope there is chocolate in Heaven. Somehow, I think there is.
