Quote du jour

"If you don't have any fresh ideas, then you use stale tactics to scare the voters. If you don't have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run from."
-Barack Obama, 2008

Mr Obama and the Democratic Party do have a record to run on, and can be proud of their accomplishments. Examples of success for the Administration include, ACA, Equal Pay Act, lowering personal taxes, saving automobile industry in USA, and improving private sector employment figures.

Now the RepublicanT Party has a sorry record of failure to run on. They will be running away from it. The leaders of the RepublicanT Party are on record doing their absolute best to sabotage any and all efforts of Washington working to help the people. And they have failed at this.

So the choice is between Mr Obama's record of successes versus Mr Romney's record of flip-flops.

    Who ya gonna call?

    1. Ah, Ema! So good of you to come and drool your nonsense here. I was afraid that maybe the orderlies had taken away all of your writing utensils, after that last incident with your crayons. Not really sanitary, don'tcha know?

So many lies, so many delusions, so much that is laughable in your short comment that it might take an entire post to refute it all. A taste: Obama didn't "save" the automobile industry. What he "saved" was lucrative, unsustainable contracts for the UAW. Ford, which last time I looked was part of the "industry", didn't require government interference at all. Stiffing the bond holders by circumventing bankruptcy law, may have been the impetus for the lack of capital for investment, based on the reluctance of people to risk investment in any business that Obozo might decide to "save". Bad Ema, no biscuit!

And if he has such a great record to run on, why is he running around the stump taking credit for what other people did, instead of touting his own accomplishments? When he talks about oil production, he is taking credit for oil drilled on private and state lands, which he has no control over, and oil leases that were sought out and negotiated during the Clinton and Bush administrations. Obama's personal contributions have been a negative on federal lands where he actually has any responsibility.

And his blather about "we've built" enough pipelines to stretch around the world is certainly a stretch, since, as president, the only section of pipeline that needed approval from his administration was the small stretch that crossed the Canadian border...which he blocked. Trying to take credit for all of the rest of the pipelines in the US borders on megalomania. (Sorry if that was your diagnosis, too!)

All I have time for this AM, Ema. Stay cool! (At least, as cool as you can in the jacket with the wraparound sleeves!)

      "... Bamboozler-in-Chief ..."

Is this the best you can come up with? Really? Bamboozler-in-Chief?

Mr Obama's record of achievements stand for themselves. Your response - name calling.

Disparaging personal attacks and empty insults demonstrate an ugliness of the soul. At some point, one has to wonder whether you understand that the angrier and more venomous and more hateful you become, the more dis-empowered you become? The only people who are going to be convinced by your kind of nastiness are already True Believers. And even some of them may take pause at how bottomless is the pit from which this stuff crawls.

    4. Golly gosh, Ema. Since Obama repeatedly used a variation of that on his opponents, are you telling us now that Obama's 2008 campaign was characterized by name calling, empty insults and a venomous ugliness of the soul? Well, I guess you know your candidate better than I (although it sounds like an apt description!)

Besides, it's scarcely empty when referring to Obama, but quite descriptive of the type of verbal sleight of hand and, on occasion, lies your candidate is well known for.

Besides, "Bamboozler-in-Chief" is hardly new. You should pay better attention. Type it in to the search bar on the sidebar and educate yourself a wee bit, Tiny Ema.

You may now return to your bottomless pit.

You've sure as hell got that right, No Name Troll. Brakabama is a miracle. He's never done a single productive or worthwile thing in his entire feckless, confused, corrupt life other than produce a few hundred pounds of manure.

He'll only be missed by the absolute scum of this earth.

    1. If "Ema" thinks Obama has a record he wants to run on, he/she or it is living in a fool's paradise.
