Quote du jour

"That’s because the “fiscal cliff” isn’t a crisis. It’s a catastrophe, of course, in the Age of Incompetence, but it’s not a crisis, it’s Kabuki."

  1. The show continues in Washington and like some mindless spectator the world watches as the drama unfolds. I reminded of the Shakespeare line, "all the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players.....". We've all played our parts in this endless drama in which the tide ebbs and flows and the only certainity is that the sea will be there when we are gone. Sometime I think I've watched this protracted struggle far too long and should have known that its never-ending. But as someone said, "hope springs eternal" or something to that affect.
