The 49ers are already in the playoffs, but think of this for a minute. If the 49ers win and the Seahawks lose, the 49ers win all the marbles ... I can dream can't I? GO NINERS!
Since the oddsmakers are taking the Panthers over the Falcons and honestly, who wouldn’t, it’s unlikely that Carolina will lose to the Falcons so the Niners can forget about home field advantage for the playoffs.
I seem to remember Sunday, November 10th when you gave me that "any given Sunday" warning and my angry kitties plucked the Falcons' feathers the week before that 34-10.
At least you are conceding the unlikelihood of home field advantage.
The Falcons are a better team than their record indicates. They put up a very good fight against the Niners, who made the mistake of looking past the Falcons, assuming they would win easily. If it hadn't been for a recovered fumble and a defensive touchdown in the last minute of the game, the Falcons likely would have won the game. The Panthers should be careful.
Gosh, you should have asked me a couple of weeks ago before the mental hard drive rebooted. Actually, it wasn't that hard. (Lucky for me!) Maybe it's because I'm on Blogger, but as I recall, I only had to sign up as an administrator and then they posted code, which I placed on my template under Posts (and Link Within which I also added).

ReplyDeleteDream on, my man, dream on!

ReplyDeleteYour angry kitties should not forget what can happen on any given Sunday...
ReplyDeleteBut, home field advantage looks remote at this point.

The "any given Sunday" admonition is operative every Sunday. How else do you think the Carlina Creampuffs got as far as they did this year? Heh.
ReplyDeleteCreampuffs???????
ReplyDeleteDon't make me come over there and put your ass in a headlock. Them thar is fightin' words!
Yea, Odie. A man can dream.

ReplyDeleteThat would be fantastic! Anything is possible in football.
ReplyDeleteHee, hee, hee!
ReplyDeleteIf, if, if. Are you double-teaming me Stogie?
ReplyDeleteVery un-creampuffian!
ReplyDeleteIndeed!
ReplyDeleteWell today the kittens only one by one point, 21-20, so my warning was a good one.
ReplyDeleteA win is a win, but that game could have easily gone either way.
ReplyDeleteNiners win with field goal with two seconds remaining. That was too dang close for comfort.
ReplyDeleteTell me about it! But, like the Carolina Angry Kitties, a win is a win!
ReplyDeleteHey Proof, how did you get disqus added to your blog, I have tried twice and couldn't get it to work.
