Quote du jour

"The five released detainees are unrepentant, militant and dangerous. The administration pretense that we and the Qataris will monitor them is a joke. They can start planning against us tonight. And if they decide to leave Qatar tomorrow, who's going to stop them?"
-Charles Krauthammer

  2. Didn't Charles originally think this was a good deal?

  3. Gosh, Jersey! You're just so darned cute when you try to give this guy cover!
Barry couldn't be motivated to stop a dictator, gassing children, committing war crimes, according to his own rhetoric when nothing was stopping him but will.
And he couldn't be motivated to send help to over thirty Americans whose lives were in immanent danger in Benghazi.

Do you honestly think that President Selfie will send troops to stop the non-immanently dangerous movement of five upstanding gentlemen he himself recently loosed upon the world?

  4. I think his position was more chiding them for their dishonesty. In other words, if you want to make a stinky deal, call it for what it is. I don't think he was ever in favor of it.
