  1. I'm going to have to record the game because I'm serving dinner at 5:30. Bad planning huh. Since Sue and I are the only 49er (or football in general) fans in the family, we'll watch the game uninterrupted at 9:00 or so.

That is a REAL babe you posted there. I might have to come back here for another look. GO NINERS!

  2. I may have to listen to the game on the radio. Having the big meal with my brother & sister at some fancy country club, and then 90 minutes on the road to spend time with my kids. Maybe I'll luck out and see part of it.

  3. Great matchup. One of these teams will be done after today. Thank goodness for a decent game on Thanksgiving finally.

  4. You can probably stream it from your phone.

  5. He's right. I was able to do that with my iPhone with Verizon/NFL app. Got a VCR or DVR?

  6. The Niners & Seahawks will play again on 12/14, so it'll be a grudge match for one of them!

  7. While driving?? What have you people got against me, anyways??? Happy T-day!

  8. Hmm. If I only had a device in my car where I could listen to a football game... I'll figure it out. Thanks for the tips!

  9. Nice picture, but please try to keep a civil tongue in your head! Well, at least one of us enjoyed watching the game!

  10. Well, that's it for the miners. I expected them to at least keep it close. Hell, they didn't even show up at home. I wonder what the spread will be in the Seattle game.

  11. I thought the Niners' best hope of not embarrassing themselves would be to split the series - take this game, lose in two weeks in Seattle. The Niners, however, decided to get their Christmas embarrassment done early and humiliated themselves at home.

  12. Actually, for the first time ever I felt sorry for Jim Harbaugh. It's nice we won but I thought it would be a lot tougher game. I hope the Hawks don't have a let down when they come to Seattle.

  13. I expected the game to be close, with maybe a narrow win by SF.
So much for expectations! Right now, I have none for the 14th!

  14. Radio stations peter out on long drives. I've seen the future and it involves your phone talking to your car radio. I guess XM picks up everything, though. I have it in my wife's car, but I'm never in my wife's car, so I'm not sure. I know they have a friggen Jimmy Buffett channel, though. If that two hit, assclown has an entire channel, I suppose it would be impossible to miss an NFL game. hehe

  15. You have to admit the seahawks were on fire. Best they've played in over a month.

  16. Only heard them in the radio. It was less painful that way!

  17. So far I've managed to keep my immediate family within about a one hour radius drive. (The Martha Stewart style ankle bracelets work great!) Between Sacramento & SF lots of media choices.

I have XM. The coverage is really quite good. Driving through some valleys and cuts coast to coast take you out of line of sight with the satellites. And if you have a commute with stop and go traffic under overpasses - fuggetaboutit!

But don't be dissin' my man JB! Yeah he's a liberal with a mediocre singing voice, singing the same songs over and over, but then, that's why karaoke is popular! ; )

  18. I'm more inclined to enjoy the Sinatra channel. I'm less inclined to enjoy it after finding out it's not Sinatra half the dang time. Truth be told, I'm all about podcasts now. It's all I listen to. I should probably take a break from listening to anything.

  19. I listen to the Fox News channel a lot (114). Mark Levin does his show on Patriot (125), which, except for overpasses comes in a lot clearer than broadcast.
I used to listen to a couple of the comedy channels, but for the most part, they aren't funny. Sometimes a little mindless Buffett helps to pass the time!

  20. I love Mark Levin but can't stand to listen to him. I'm already boiling. No need to drink in more boiling water.

  21. I hear you. I like Tom Sullivan. He used to be on XM, but now I have to catch him on the AM band.
