Jimmy Dean R.I.P.

Jimmy Dean, one of my Dad's favorite singers, passed away at the age of 81. He was a solid entertainer for many years, before he ever got into the sausage business. I saw him on TV, singing in a church just recently. The best known by far of all his songs was "Big Bad John".

RIP, Mr. Dean!

  3. I've always enjoyed his sausage in my biscuits & gravy in the morning.

Which reminds me. "The colonel is dead but we still enjoy his chicken", I guess now I can say Jimmy Dean...never mind...

  4. BTW, did you know that after 2003 somebody didn't like Sarah Lee? Their marketing people decided he was too old to continue being spokes person for Jimmy Dean pure pork sausage and didn't renew his contract to represent it. Nice people they are!

And you must have inherited Goldsteins turing word generator, mine is "Fatorker", what's up with that?
