The San Francisco 49er's beat the previously undefeated Detroit Lions, 25 to 19, to extend their record on the season to five and one. I actually had the chance to watch this one, unlike last week's game. It was a real nailbiter at times.
The noise of playing Detroit at home cost the Niners in the penalty department: fifteen on the day. Excellent plays by two very good teams made this a great game right down to the final play!
