    Never understood why Moses didn't deny his parentage - become pharaoh and THEN let the people go - politicians today do it all the time and don't end up with Anne Baxter.

      If it had happened that way, Moses would have taken all the credit...and probably screwed it up along the way. He'd lead the people to the Promised Land after the next continuing resolution.
