      As well she should! She called herself "The Shape", and was awarded Yank magazine's "pin up girl of the year" in 1944.

    As the roll call of Yank pinups during WWII includes the likes of Barbara Stanwyck and Paulette Goddard, to be named one was no small distinction.

    And, as far as I can see, she has no small distinctions.
