I missed the first part and the last part, and some strategically timed chores helped me miss some of the middle, but, alas, not enough. The game stunk on ice.
I was looking for a little schadenfreude if the Seaturkeys took a beating. When it was evident that wasn't going to happen, I found I couldn't care enough about the game to watch. I tried to generate some enthusiam for the Broncos, but in the end, there was nothing there. A closer game would have at least given me a reason to watch.
I found no fault in the Seahawks' play, what little I watched of it. As I said in another venue, I was rooting for the Broncos, unfortunately, they never showed.
Look on the positive side, you know the 49ers are going to give it all to the Hawks next season. They are definitely playing two games and will likely face off in the playoffs. Which team would the 49ers prefer to beat next season: Super Bowl champs or Super Bowl losers?
And what did that game today show? That the best two teams in the NFL this year were the 49ers and the Hawks. Had Kaepernick thrown that ball to anyone other than Crabtree...this could have been the 49ers night. I am a Hawk fan, but I recognize how close these two teams are in talent and style of play.
In the end, it's like I told the kid who delivered the pizza as the game was starting. Seattle is the best football team in the NFL...and Denver isn't the second best.
WOW!!! That's a real beauty.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are always in the melon patch aren't you? Go BRONCOS!
ReplyDeleteShe works hard for the money!
ReplyDeleteWorst Super Bowl ever! Even the commercials.

ReplyDeleteI loved it. I thought it was a great game.
ReplyDeleteNah. Blow outs aren't that fun to watch, IMHO.
ReplyDeleteI am guessing you would have found something to like had it gone the other way...

Nah. The positive side was I gt to run two weeks of cheerleader photos after the 49er's season had ended.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, the rivalry will be more intense next year. Something to look forward to!
