Michelle Doesn't Sweat the Small Stuff While Others Will Merely Sweat!

Merced, CA, population 246,117 as of July 2008, is home of UC Merced, which is having their graduation ceremony today, in about five hours. Typically, an event of this importance would draw about 2,000 people locally. However, guest speaker Michelle Obama, with a minimal carbon footprint of self, Secret Service and entourage, has made her way to the little California valley town to drip pearls of wisdom from her lips.

In heat that could hit triple digits today, suckers interested folk have been lining up since 11 AM this morning to hear her 2 PM speech.

Expect to see audience members swooning, but not necessarily from the rhetoric. We'll update the post later if she actually says anything of note.
