If only the people trying to save our planet were half this good looking!
Barack Obama's plan to bulldoze major portions of US cities reminded me of an old episode of Stargate. (Season 5, Episode 10)
On a agrarian planet, SG-1 meets the Ashen Confederacy... SG-1 determines that some great calamity befell the population of the agriculture world, reducing them from millions to thousands and eliminating their industrial base... but Samantha Carter (the blonde in the picture! You knew I had a reason to post that picture, right?) manages to trick the Ashen into revealing that they plan to subject Earth's population to a long-term sterilization procedure.
"Reducing them from millions to thousands and eliminating their industrial base"? Sounds like the Green Party and the Democrats were wildly successful here!
The once densely populated cities were buried as converted to farmland. Somehow I suspect that Obama's planet will not fare any better than the fictional one in the Stargate universe!
