Noob Beginnings

Image and video hosting by TinyPic "Consider it a training collar!"

A second look at Obama's speech in Cairo. Let's parse a little more of Obama's Noob Beginning:

I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.
Really? Where exactly in the Constitution or the oath of office the President swears is there anything at all about "fighting negative stereotypes" of any religion? You'd think he'd have his hands full just nationalizing the banks, the auto industry, and health care!

Because we reject the same thing that people of all faiths reject: the killing of innocent men, women, and children.
"People of all faiths" sounds like some sort of truism, but unfortunately, you have to parse it very carefully to get to the truth. "Some people of all faiths" believe it. If all people of all faiths believed it, we wouldn't have fanatics flying planes into skyscrapers, or suicide bombers blowing up school buses or pizza restaurants!

This is the guy that during the campaign famously said:
"'I have a dream!' Just words. 'We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal.' Just words. 'We have nothing to fear but fear itself.' Just words. Just speeches,"

Unfortunately, when it comes to leadership, all he has is words, and most of them pretty empty. They sound nice unless you really lilsten to what he has to say. His suit may be empty, but his teleprompter is state of the art!
