Scott Brown for US Senate

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Frequent readers of Proof Positive know that I never ask you to do something I haven't done or am willing to do myself. Therefore, I have no qualms about posting Scott Brown's website, where you can contribute to the Republican running for Ted Kennedy's old seat in the Senate.
The special election is coming up January 19th, and this guy could have a shot at the first erosion of the one party stranglehold that now grips the country.

At his September 12 announcement of candidacy for the U.S. Senate, Senator Brown articulated a core set of beliefs that guide his thinking.

* Government is too big and that the federal stimulus bill made government bigger instead of creating jobs
* Taxes are too high and are going higher if Congress continues with its out-of-control spending
* The historic amount of debt we are passing on to our children and grandchildren is immoral
* Power concentrated in the hands of one political party, as it is here in Massachusetts, leads to bad government and poor decisions
* A strong military and vigorous homeland defense will protect our interests and security around the world and at home
* All Americans deserve health care, but we shouldn't have to create a new government insurance program to provide it

So you can continue to complain about the problem, or you can do something to help.
Let's make 2010 a year of real hope and change!

Update: I was listening to Herman Cain guest hosting a national radio program last Wednesday, as I was driving back from Reno, and I'm not sure I can remember his exact words, but he spoke along the lines of contributing our values, our votes and our valuables to making a change in this country. Two of those valuables were money and time. So, with that in mind, I will ask you to give of your time, your talent and your treasures to bring about the changes we need to sustain liberty in our own United States.

Update II: A special welcome to Sean Hannity fans! We showed up on the Sean Hannity discussion forum. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I like this guy, and he may have a long shot at winning in MA.

The only thing that sets me back is this, he may not understand the threat of the military industrial complex that Eisenhower spoke of in 1961. But given the reality of the past 50 ears who the hell did?

  2. This guy may not be perfect, but he's a darn sight better than the rubber stamp vote Obama would get from his opponent.

As a general rule, we need to find a better way to entice the best candidates from their successful businesses and give them the support they need, to get them past the Character Assassination Bureau that the Democrat party and MSM have formed.

  3. Great to see you're on board. We have a real opportunity to steal Obama's 60th vote and decisively crush ObamaCare.

  4. My efforts will be modest, I'm sure, but every little bit helps!
