Bad Decisions Will Dog Obama

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Bo jerks around the President,
the President returns the favor to the rest of the country!

May I ask the President a very simple question? WTF are you doing flying your dog on vacation in his own private jet? A number of people have weighed in on this, most recently, Support Your Local Gunfighter, but, seriously folks...between the budget crisis with millions out of work and crazed, sex poodle Al Gore's scenario of doom and gloom if we don't reduce our carbon footprint (a bit of junk science that our President seems to have bought into), why would any rational man do such a thing?

Arriving in a small jet before the Obamas was the first dog, Bo, a Portuguese water dog given as a present by the late U.S. Sen Ted Kennedy, D-Mass.; and the president's personal aide Reggie Love...
Can we say it? The President's dog walker!

You would think that a man elected to office based on the careful crafting of images: his speeches at the Brandenburg Gate, at 10 Downing Street (a convenient backdrop when no one was home) and the faux Greek columns of the Democrat's convention, would be more sensitive to the image of utter arrogance and irresponsibility that this projects.

Could someone please tell his majesty Louis XVI Obama that there's a recession on? Is Air Force One so cramped that you couldn't fit a wee little dog and the dog's valet in amongst your entourage??

Of all the things that will dog this presidency, the chutzpah of flying your canine companion in on his own private jet may take the cake...if Michelle hasn't told the peasants to let them eat it, yet!

Update: The paper has since posted a "clarification":

Clarification: Today's story about the arrival of the Obamas said the Obama's dog and one aide arrived on a small jet before the First Family, but there were other occupants on the plane, including several other staffers. The presidential party took two small jets to the Hancock County-Bar Harbor Airport in Trenton because the airport was too small to accommodate the president's usual jet.

And I'm sure every one of those staffers was needed, if for nothing else than ballast to keep the motorcade of "at least 16 vehicles...led by two Maine State Police cruisers and included five black Chevrolet Suburbans" from floating off the island!

Update II: For the benefit of all those who were not able to read my entire post before their ADD kicked in, let me point this out to you:

Here is a man flying in on the very type of plane he criticized big business for using to fly to Vegas and spend their own money and reward high achievers in their own companies. It was the same sort of plane that this administration excoriated GM executives for flying into Washington for Senate hearings. and here is the tone deaf Übermensch Obama letting his dog set the image of an out of touch executive flying his pet on vacation in his own private jet.

I did not make this story up, Leftards. This image was already out there. Live by the photo op, die by the photo op*.

  1. Absolute power...

This is playing out like a Greek tragedy. The seeds of his failure are sown in what got this arrogant man elected. (I'm avoiding the "H-word," so as not to be so obvious as to insult you and your readers.)
