Ronald Reagan's 100th

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Today would have been the 100th birthday of the 40th President of the United States, Ronald Wilson Reagan. I'm proud to say that when he was running for president, I voted for him both terms. And although he was by no means perfect, he still stands as the gold standard for conservative politicians (and modern presidents).

The great thing about Reagan is how he still inspires men of good will and infuriates men of weak minds (and you guys know who you are!).

"Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall."

  2. Thanks, Maggie. It's hard to do justice to a man as great as Reagan. When people talk about the "next Reagan", it's not about who best imitates him, but who is that unique individual, who after he (or she) was made, they threw away the mold.

  3. Where are the Reagans of today, and the Thatchers?

We are sorely lacking strong leaders who speak the truth and are unapologetic about standing up for western values.

  4. "western values" Amen. This whole idea of "multiculturalism", that uncivilized cultures are every bit as "valid" as civilized ones, rots the brain and saps the will.
People who think that conservatives are looking for an imitation of Reagan (or Thatcher) are sadly mistaken. We want the genuine article, the real McCoy.

    You can't fake that.
