Lisa Edelstein — whose long-term contract expires this month — has opted not to return for the show’s eighth and likely final season.
Maybe it's just a product of my age and gender, but she seemed like the highlight of the show to me. At least one of the reasons to tune in! The other was the actress who played House's ex-wife:

She was asked to take a pay cut, so you really can't blame her. How can anyone survive on $100,000 a week? It's probably something she'll be able to delve further into when she's sitting a few barstools down from Shelly Long.
ReplyDeleteShelly Long! Now there's a name I haven't heard in quite a while! IMHO, Ms. Edelstein is more well endowed...with talent than was the plucky Ms. Long.
