Occupy This! Redux

Remember when Occupy Wall Street showed up as a "spontaneous" movement around six weeks ago? We know it was spontaneous because they kept telling us it was. While I was checking out Cindy Sheehan's participation in the current Occupy Sacramento, I came across several references to "Occupy Sacramento"...from last May.

Dear Family, Friends, and Colleagues,

Over the last 24 hours global attention has been monopolized by a certain event, but our work in California goes on. We aim to occupy the State Capitol beginning May 9, 2011, and seek to sustain that occupation as long as possible.

Peace Activist Cindy Sheehan Turns Attention To Capitol
Sheehan To Be Part Of Capitol 'Occupation'

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Noted peace activist Cindy Sheehan said Thursday she's "willing to be arrested" as part of a large protest planned for next week at the state Capitol.

"I've never been arrested in California before," Sheehan said.

A number of possibilities come to mind. One, the Left is simply plagued with trite, tired and unimaginative sloganeering.

Two, when all you have is a hammer, the whole world's a nail. The Left has a one size fits all approach to every problem. Sit ins and protests from Wisconsin to Wall Street to West Sacramento.

Three, the Left has been planning their "spontaneous" protests for months.

Four, George Soros and the Wall Street bunch just ripped Cindy off for the name. My experience with Lefties is that quite a number of them are immune to giving attribution for whatever intellectual property they may "borrow".

As of now, my money's on one and two.
