The "I don't care's, I don't know's, My vote doesn't counter's, The dumb and dumber's, and the Gimme More's" will all go with the prevailing winds on election day. The "Mushy Middle" will eat whatever is put on their plates.
It bothers me, that most Americans apparently don't pay any attention to presidential politics until after Labor Day in an election year. If only we lived in a world that afforded that luxury.
I know quite a few people that claim to be independent and don't pay much attention to politics whom without some incentive or coersion would probably vote for Obama just because of name recognition. My plan is to follow Reagan's lead and come about September start asking them repeatedly if they're better off now than they were 4 years ago. It may be 32 years old but still a valid, and I think effective, question.
That and ask them what would Obama do differently this time than his first two years, where his party held control of the House, the Senate and the White House and could have passed any and all legislation they wanted to?
