"Obama...possesses teleprompter eloquence" - Wish I'd said that!

There is in fact plenty of evidence Obama is a terrible debater. Remember the Phony Blair House Summit? I think he knows this, too. That's why he takes more questions from the coven at The View than he does from the White House Press Corps.
ReplyDeleteHe's taking three days to prep for the debate. That tells me he has a lot of memorizing to do, since spontaneous coherent utterances are not his forte.
DeleteIn terms of debate skill, Carter was no slouch. Compared to Brakabama, he was a latter day Demosthenes. Brakabama is a dullard.
ReplyDeleteHe won't have his 'prompter, so he'll have to memorize some slick comebacks to what he anticipates Romney will hit him with.

The point of the quote of the day? (That's what "quote du jour" means, in case you hadn't gathered that!) I put up quotes that are humorous, or pithy, or noteworthy, or from noteworthy people, well crafted turns of phrase, interesting use of language... in general, anything that interests me or I think will interest my readers.
DeleteNote: I have never quoted you in the Quote du jour, Ema. Find the common thread. Talking Points Memo is hardly an unbiased or uninterested (though possibly uninteresting) source. Keep drinking that Kool-Aid, Ema, and spamming those talking points.
I wish that notmyN amE would promise to move to France when Romney wins. That would be a win win.
ReplyDeleteChuck: Show a little compassion! Haven't those poor people in France suffered enough?
DeleteNo.
