Superman is played by Henry Cavil, who is British. I’m not sure why all our iconic American figures are being played by foreigners. We’ve got a Superman from Britain, a Batman from Britain, a Spider-Man from Britain, and a president from Kenya.- Craig Ferguson

That is too funny - you gotta love Craig Ferguson.
ReplyDeleteHe does get off some nice zingers!
DeleteAnd we can't forget that other Brit trying to ban our Second Amendment.
ReplyDeleteDance later?
Hey Proof, are you getting ready for "Hot August Nights" above?
Delete"That other Brit" seems to be reconsidering some of his views as to response to gov't tyranny, after having viewed some genuine gov't tyranny.
DeleteToo tired to tango! No immediate plans for HAN. Not even SOLO.
The Hot August Nights reference was for your new banner.
DeleteI don't know if I can get a new coat of paint on it before then. Maybe Earl Scheib...
DeleteProof, I love your banners. All of American's heroes are wearing camo (or were), many in a psychiatrist's office (if they're lucky a good one, but probably not), trying to feed their children and keep their marriages together while we refuse a hot breakfast or the needed late night dinner for the midnight shift in Afghanistan. Most other young men of "hero-age" are Liberals.

Thanks, Maggie! I like to change the banner up a little to keep it fresh.
DeleteOur military and first responders are indeed the real heroes. Rough men who stand ready in the night...
