Remember the old Hans
I first started thinking about the bamboozlers in that story when I thought of the disastrous launch of the Healthcare.gov website. How many sycophantic fools must there be in the Obama administration to let the boss go to the microphone and compare the unmitigated disaster of Obamacare to an iPhone? But, before "The Emperor's New Website" could see the light of day, we had the revelation that the administration knew as early as 2010 that millions of Americans would not be able to keep the policies they liked, at prices they could afford. And yet, the President, at every opportunity, repeated over and over the now infamous thirteen words:
"If you like your health plan, you can keep your health plan. Period."
Unless you've been living under a rock, or on the planet Tatooine, (or under a rock on Tatooine), you have heard the audio, or seen video of Obama endlessly repeating the mantra (read: lie) that "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your plan", knowing all the while, that the requirements of The (Un)Affordable Care Act would force all insurance companies to terminate any policy that didn't meet the new arbitrary government standards, the very policies he was telling you you could keep. Period.
Could this be the moment, not when the oceans start to recede, but the moment that a majority of people see Obama and his fellow travelers for the frauds they are, when they come to grips with losing the insurance policies that they could afford, and are forced to pay more for the same or inferior coverage in an inaccessible government exchange? When they lose their doctor, because he isn't in the same plan as the "new and improved" government healthcare plan, or reduced payments from the government are not enough to keep the doors of his practice open?
Let's face it, folks. Obama thinks you're stupid. Sequestration, for example, was his idea, but because it's a big word, he assumes you don't know what it means, and liberals blame the "Republicans' sequestration" for anything even mildly unpopular. Republicans offered to fund everything in the government with the exception of Obamacare, and passed legislation to that effect, and liberals tell us that Republicans want cancer patients to die and veterans to starve, even though the Republican House specifically passed bills to fund these things. Liberals blame Republicans for the shutdown, even though Obama and Reid had the power to open any portion of it at the drop of a hat, with just the stroke of a pen. And then, this administration had the gall to make the closure more onerous than any government shutdown in history, closing monuments and memorials that had never been closed by any president before. But, they think you're stupid and will blame Republicans for it.
Obamacare supporters think you are so stupid as to believe that the insurance policies you have now and are losing aren't "real" insurance, because they don't cover exactly the same things you will now pay more for under Obamacare. They think you're too stupid to know what your insurance covers. They think you should thank Obama because he and his minions are forcing you to buy "real" insurance, that not only costs more, with a higher deductible, but might not allow you to see your own doctor, either. Obama even traveled to Taxachusetts, hoping that if he dropped the name "Mitt Romney" often enough, that maybe you'll...blame the Republicans. Or at least, not blame him.
The emperor has no credibility. The fools that surround him tell us how wonderful he is, and even though more people have lost the insurance they had than have gained the insurance he promised, that Obama has "kept his promises". But, then, liberals think you're stupid. And if you can see Obama's tighty whiteys underneath his magnificent cloak of credibility, then you're just not as sophisticated as progressives, who don't see things as they are and ask "why?", but see things that never were and ask, "How much more government bureaucracy can we create if we raise everyone's taxes?" Period.
*Have to eliminate "bigotry", don'tcha know?

I am mad and embarrassed with American law makers concerning this heath care issue. What a farce!
ReplyDeleteThe last six years have been a blow to the average Joe tax payer - JUST NUTS
some brain food - if anybody knows incompetence, it's Jimmy Carter
"He’s done the best he could under the circumstances. His major accomplishment was Obamacare, and the implementation of it now is questionable at best." - Jimmy Carter
When Jimmah Carter questions your competence, it's a sure bet you aren't the brightest bulb on the tree!
DeleteThat's why 'Jimmah' is always smiling these days. He knows he is no longer the Worst.President.Ever.
DeleteI know Jimmy is a man of faith. With Barack Obama, his cup runneth over!
DeleteDon't worry, if this doesn't piss you off how about this ... The President yesterday, by yet another executive order, passed more anti-global warming laws. PUFF ... what law could we all be breaking right now? Once again he has over stepped his authority and OUR congress will only look in disbelief and DO NOTHING. Hail King Barack !
ReplyDeleteI keep wondering, in this Reign of Error, if any impeachable offense will become too great to ignore. I suspect that no one wants to go down in history as voting to impeach our first black president. Plus, there's the whole 'willing accomplices in the MSM' thing.

Please pay attention.
It is clear, nuance causes certain people major problems. One does have to point out that Presidential Executive orders are well within the President's authority and apply only to the Executive Branch of USA government. And... Only Congress can pass laws in USA. It's in the Constitution. Maybe you should try to read it.

“... has no credibility.”
ReplyDeleteWhere has the world ever come up with the idea that “Conservatives” can’t do comedy?
You have gone out of your way to show the world just how absolutely much you hate President Obama, hate his efforts, hate his very existence, and hate USA for voting for him and his political dreams/ideas.. You have shown over the years utter contempt at anything he has done.
Now you come out with this comedy routine of concern for credibility. Really funny, really!
It is clearly true, Liberals protest war and “Conservatives” protest health care.
Credibility ...You are outraged.
RepublicanTs are Outraged -- that Americans are getting Affordable Health Care.
RepublicanTs are Outraged -- that Americans are NOT getting Affordable Health Care, fast enough.
RepublicanTs are Outraged -- that Americans have to pay Taxes.
RepublicanTs are Outraged -- that America's Debt is NOT being paid down, fast enough.
RepublicanTs are Outraged -- that the Voter's Right Act used to make them let everyone Vote.
RepublicanTs are Outraged -- that in Texas, North Carolina, and Virgina, there are way too many Women, Students, and poor people voting.
RepublicanTs are Outraged -- that so many Americans want to Vote.
RepublicanTs are Outraged -- that even with all their Gerrymandered Districts, they still lose Elections.
RepublicanTs are Outraged -- that so many Americans do NOT hate Government like they do.
RepublicanTs are Outraged -- that so many Americans just want a Government that works -- because as recent history shows, that's just NOT what RepublicanTs DO!
... Provide us a Government that works? Hah!
Get over yourself. ACA is USA national law. ACA is here to stay. ACA is improving the people’s world. So ‘cwy me a wiver ...’
This time next year, GOP will be running national election campaigns trying to convince the voters that ACA was originally a GOP plan. And you have been supporting it forever.

Ema: I can understand why the subject of "credibility" should baffle you since you have none yourself. Your fantasies about the GOP (or anyone in their right mind) wanting to claim credit for the UnAfordable Care Act are duly noted.

OK. Pla...ese.
Tell US, specifically, what 'Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors' offense(s) do you want President Obama impeached/ tried?

Odd. I never mentioned treason or bribery. Do you know something I don't? (That was a rhetorical question. Of course you don't.)
