On the Back Roads of My Desk

I'm a scribbler. Tiny little scraps of paper, newspaper margins...anywhere there's a writing service, I jot myself notes. Then, I stick them in piles and sort through them periodically, like archeological digs, trying to fathom the meaning from the context and surrounding layer.

Yesterday, I found such a note with just two words: Genevieve Morton. Who in the world is Genevieve Morton? Why did I write this note? Maybe if I Google the name it will come to me.
