Quote du jour

Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers.

Rove: Hillary to Run in 2016

I've said for months that it was going to be 2012. That was before wikileaks. I think she'll spend the next year keeping her head low and her powder dry and see just how badly those have hurt her. Unless this wikileaks thing keeps dribbling out bad news about her, a year is an awfully long time in politics.

I still look for Hillary in the primaries in 2012, unless there are more damaging leaks to come.

2016 could be the back up plan, I suppose.

Karl Rove on Obama's "Baseless Lie" -Video

Karl Rove was fired up this AM on Fox News Sunday. I saw this live (well, time delay for the Left Coast) and Gateway Pundit had the video.

“Have these people no shame? Does the president of the United States have such little regard for the office that he holds that he goes out there and makes these kind of baseless charges against his political enemies?”

The charge made by Obama is doubly hypocritical when you consider how the Obama campaign went out of their way NOT to verify the sources of their overseas funding in 2008 in their Internet fund raising.

Update: Just found the offending video in question over at Say Anything

Quote du jour

On the campaign trail, Barack Obama criticized Washington for being "obsessed with the perpetual campaign." As president he is the first occupant of the Oval Office to give his director of political affairs -- who coordinates the president's involvement with his party and other campaign related activities -- an office in the West Wing.

Quote du jour

"We here have news for Barack Obama. The values of those people you diminished are the values of America. And those people don't like getting patronized, or viewed as an alien species, by a fellow who pretends to embody a new kind of politics, and especially by someone who wants to be president not of red states or blue states, but the United States."
