OneNation Rally Postmortem

Politics makes strange bedfellows. (You may quote me!) I had heard that there were over 400 organizations that were sponsoring the anemic turn out that was "Onenation", but I came across a link that confirmed it. Among the supporters (and remember what a humongous mess they left behind) were:

The rally was a success in one aspect. It shows the superiority and popularity of conservatism in America. It shows that for all their pretense, liberalism is not the predominant way of thinking among the majority of Americans. It shows us we are winning.

Success for the Progressieves? Eh, not so much!

Our Satellites are Better Than Their Satellites!

The claim was made that satellite photos showed a bigger audience at the Onenation rally than Beck had. Our military has satellites (it is said) that can read the dimples on a golf ball. We applied that technology to the Onenation rally. (At one point, we had to look for their audience with a search warrant!) It gave us the ability to zoom in on individual participants.

Great minds run in similar paths. Here's a comment I made about the Onenation rally about 8:40 last night over at Doug Ross:

"I'm all in favor of picking up the trash, but they had a First Amendment right to be there!"
