As my mentor Pogo once said, "I have seen the enemy and it is us;" except, in this case, the enemy is poor punctuation. Yes, and we are all guilty. Rich has no higher ground because of being a Marine Officer, I corrected many pages for officers and wondered how they ever wrote papers in college. Without punctuation, a sentence can be interpreted in a number of ways. Correct punctuation insures a greater accuracy and fewer chances for misinterpretation. In other words, correct punctuation is a tight group on the 500 yard line: punctuation leaves holes all over your target and your neighbor's target. We all need to tighten our groups on the grammar range or we will have more misfires over nothing.-Skookum
