A tribute to when presidents' heads were only figuratively made of stone!
If you have the day off, enjoy! Take a moment to ponder what great thing the Founding Fathers have bequeathed to us. If you have to work today? Join the club!
Seriously, I saw this quote this morning, from Theodore Roosevelt's Inaugural Address: "Our relations with the other powers of the world are important; but still more important are our relations among ourselves."
Now you're just toying with my affections! I've called every "Crankipants" in the book, and when I ask for you, all I get is a weather report: "The coast is clear!"

The Blog Commandments
I. Commenting here is a privilege, not a right.
II. Disagreement is welcome, even encouraged, but spam, unduly profane, or offensive speech is subject to removal by the staff and management of this blog. Insults from the FBI (Foul mouthed, Boring and Ignorant) and anonymous trolls hardest hit.
III. Feel free to use, in unaltered form, any Photoshops I create with the 'Proof Positive' address on them. A simple link in return is all we ask, so anyone else who likes it knows where to find more.
IV. As a matter of policy, I never knowingly print lies or untruths in my blog or Tweets, unless I'm quoting correctly the liberal who told them.
ditto!..working too!
ReplyDeleteIn honor of Presidents Day I'll be drinking like Grant, falling like Ford and, like Clinton, denying any of it ever happened.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I saw this quote this morning, from Theodore Roosevelt's Inaugural Address: "Our relations with the other powers of the world are important; but still more important are our relations among ourselves."
ReplyDeleteWHT: I know! All this work distracts me from the serious business of blogging!
ReplyDeleteMrs. C: "...drinking like Grant, falling like Ford and, like Clinton, denying any of it ever happened"
Too funny!
"still more important are our relations among ourselves"
So, you're saying you're still up for having relations???
Yes, but you have to buy me dinner first.
ReplyDeleteDeal! Heh.
ReplyDeleteCall me, I'm in the book.
ReplyDeleteNow you're just toying with my affections! I've called every "Crankipants" in the book, and when I ask for you, all I get is a weather report: "The coast is clear!"
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry babe, I guess I never told you that my first name is "Ima".
ReplyDeleteThat should make it easier.
Figures!
