I met Lee Greenwood in Panama when he came down to entertain the troops right before the invasion. His show was awesome. He played every instrument in the band, including the saxophone! (but not all at once!)
I still love that song, but I find "Angry American" more fitting for the 9/11 era. Today I will grill out listening to such patriotic songs as Don't Tread on Me, God Bless the USA, and Angry American.
I'll get drunk, grab my guitar and sing those song at the top of my lungs on my back deck...

The Blog Commandments
I. Commenting here is a privilege, not a right.
II. Disagreement is welcome, even encouraged, but spam, unduly profane, or offensive speech is subject to removal by the staff and management of this blog. Insults from the FBI (Foul mouthed, Boring and Ignorant) and anonymous trolls hardest hit.
III. Feel free to use, in unaltered form, any Photoshops I create with the 'Proof Positive' or @ProofBlog address on them. A simple link in return is all we ask, so anyone else who likes it knows where to find more.
IV. As a matter of policy, I never knowingly print lies or untruths in my blog or Tweets, unless I'm quoting correctly the liberal who told them.

Toby Keith did a good job of expressing the mood of the country in that song. Maybe that's the way to end our contemplation of that terrible day...
