Red: Gina Elise Hits the Big Screen... Sort Of!

In the film "Red", opening today, if you look closely, you can see our friend Gina Elise of Pinups for Vets. That is, there is a picture of her, in a janitor's closet in the CIA where the Bruce Willis character hides. According to Gina:

"(the) photo is on the door, and the camera lingers on the photo for a while after he exits the room!" A little added bonus, sports fans!

When we first got involved, Gina Elise's project was ranked 210 (out of 1000).
As of today, she's up to 160! Unfortunately, only the top ten ideas get funded, but she's making up ground, thanks in part to people like you.

Some of you may remember our very first Friday Night Babe, the lovely Gina Elise of Pinups for Vets. In her words:

"...Pin-Ups For Vets is in the running for a $50,000 Pepsi Refresh Grant that will allow me to do a U.S.A. Veterans and Military Hospital Tour! These visits have brought so much laughter and many smiles to our Nation's heroes who are enduring long hospital stays.

Friday Night Babe

Gina Elise has graced the pages of Proof Positive before.

Her Pinups for Vets raises money for disabled vets. In Gina's words:

I came up with the idea to recreate a nostalgic pin-up calendar that would serve three purposes:

1. The calendars would be sold to raise funds for our hospitalized Veterans.

2. The calendars would be delivered as gifts to our ill and injured Veterans with messages of appreciation from the donors.

3. The calendars would be sent to our deployed troops to help boost morale and to let them know that Americans back home are thinking of them.

Visit her website and contribute. Gina recently made a second trip to Walter Reed and Bethesda Naval Hospital to deliver donated calendars and posters to wounded vets. The calendar is amazing and the money goes to a good cause. (And it gives me an excuse to post pictures of pretty girls!)
