"A Civilian National Security Force Just as Powerful as the Military"

"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set," he said Wednesday. "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded." -Barack Obama, Chicago Trib

Without even asking how he's going to pay for it, what the hell does he mean by that? What does he mean by "civilian national security force"? A national police force? As powerful, strong and well funded as the military?
Is he merely talking out of his ass? Or is he redefining words like "national security" in order to justify a domestic spending agenda that will require draconian tax increases?

I guess about the only gleam of hope from Senator O'blurry, is that he'll probably flip flop on this, too, before the general election!

  1. Proof, You wrote, "A national police force?" No, I think it is much more insidiary. I'd wager this "Civilian National Security Force" is another way of creating a national police state.
