You Don't Have to be Crazy to be a Democrat - But It Helps!

Consider the strange case of Oregonian David Wu...

Rep. David Wu's staff confronted him over concerns about his mental health

WASHINGTON -- Three days before the Nov. 2 election, U.S. Rep. David Wu’s most loyal and senior staffers were so alarmed by his erratic behavior that they demanded he enter a hospital for psychiatric treatment.

Three days before the election, the people closest to him were "demanding he enter a hospital for psychiatric treatment"? And, doing their public duty, called a press conference to warn the general public about what they knew and feared? (Stop laughing!)

No public announcement was made, but campaign staff withdrew and Wu did not hold another formal campaign event until he emerged on Tuesday night after winning a seventh term.

"He may be a nutzoid whackadoo, but he's our nutzoid whackadoo." party officials were quoted as saying. (Okay. I made that part up!)

He later called in his employees and reprimanded them for blowing things out of proportion and accused the predominantly female staff of being overly emotional...
So, he's not only mentally unstable, he's also a misogynist? Great! Isn't that the picture of the proto-typical anti-feminist? "Don't you worry your pretty little head about it, Little Missy! It's probably just your Aunt Flo talking!" Nice guy!

...Wu had shown signs of erratic behavior before. In 2007, he accused the Bush White House of acting like fake Klingons. In 2003, he appeared to go catatonic before a crucial vote on Medicare.

Yeah. 'Cause them real Klingons would have been sooooo much better, right Dave? Dave??

Forget about birth certificates. Maybe we should require a note from a psychiatrist before we elect our public officials?

  1. Good catch poof!
Did you find this at Camp Liberty's Freedom Blog?

  2. No, anonymous based boob, I only go to sources people actually read. Besides, oh time challenged one, look at the date on my post. This post precedes yours by a matter of five months. It would be hard for me to "find" something on your blog five months before you bleated it. You might want to ask yourself, did you find the basis for your stories at Camp Delusion's Fish or Cut Bait Shop here?

Or is "find" yet another English word that you are clueless as to the meaning?

Do try to keep up, boob!

  3. It is nice that you read the blog, rbb. Come again! You may finally learn something!
