Updated: This makes sense. Metropolis II is a depiction of Los Angeles (without the smog, illegal aliens, drive-by shootings, sprawling cities in massive decline as far as the eye can see and Baghdad-esque driving conditions) and is heading to the Los Angeles Museum of Art (no date is given).
By the way, it looks like David Banner's accidental overdose of gamma radiation that altered his body chemistry must have also helped slow the aging process, Ferrigno doesn't look much different today than he did back then. That's been over 30 years since that show came on in 1977.
I agree and perhaps this standing by David Banner, aka the Incredible Hulk - pre-Hulk - shows that he would have done much better in the Governor's mansion in the state of Kaleefornia, much unlike the outgoing actor that ran as a conservative and placated the loony-left in the state by becoming one of them.

Can I see a raise of hands for anyone that thinks flying is even worth it any more? I can't wait to see what happens when I fly out this Thursday for Thanksgiving on the East Coast. One of my favorite shirts depicts a bullseye on the back and "America Capitalist" on the front, signifying the 'target' that American capitalists are. It was sent to me by Fox News' Jonathan Hoenig (thanks a bunch, Jonathan and keep up the great work spreading the message of liberty!).
Seriously, though, I wonder what would happen if I wore that shirt at the San Diego airport (the same airport that Oceanside's John Tyner exposed the TSA two days ago) this week as I head out? I mean, I am tempted to do it and capture it all on tape, if anything were to happen (Mrs. LCR notwhithstanding).
On this note, noted eccentric L.A. "food stylist" Adam Pearson was pulled off a flight on Saturday due to complaint regarding his "atom bomb" tattoos etched across both of his hands (picture, left). How ludicrous is this?:
(LAT) Los Angeles food stylist Adam C. Pearson was settling into his seat aboard a Delta flight Saturday morning when the flight attendant tapped him on the shoulder and asked him to come to the front of the plane. His first thought? "I'm getting an upgrade!"
Not exactly.
Pearson was temporarily asked to step off the plane and learned that another passenger had reported him for suspicious behavior, and noted that he had the words "Atom Bomb" tattooed across his fingers. Questioned by the captain and the flight attendant, Pearson explained that the tattoos referred to a childhood nickname. After answering a few more questions, Pearson -- who is a frequent Delta passenger and has flown over 142,000 miles with the airline this year alone -- was allowed to return to his seat.
"I was just shocked," Pearson said. "All eyes were on me, I felt everyone staring at me and I was like, 'I didn't do anything.' "
A guy named John Tyner who blogs under the "Johnny Edge" handle, takes on the TSA at the San Diego International Airport (SAN) in a post from yesterday morning. He recorded the entire event (strangely with what seems to be a shoe cam, or something as the camera angle is horizontal to the ground and looking up - it's actually his phone).
What ensues is admittedly a bit of stunt on John Tyner's part but nevertheless damning to the conduct of the TSA, "naked scanners" forced on air flight travelers and the incredible Orwellian nonsense of it all. I'm surprised no one else has done an undercover op like this as well.
(Editor's Note: I was not able to listen to all the video segments that John Tyner put up at his site, however, I just caught an an amazing admission made by a TSA official on one of the video segments):
(SignonSD) Once he threatened to have the TSA agent arrested though, events turned surreal.
A supervisor is heared re-explaining the groin check process to Tyner then adding "If you're not comfortable with that we can escort you back out and you don't have to fly today."
Tyner responded "OK, I don't understand how a sexual assault can be made a condition of my flying."
"This is not considered a sexual assault," replied the supervisor, calmly.
"It would be if you were not the government," said Tyner.
"By buying your ticket you gave up a lot of rights," countered the TSA supervisor.
"By buying your ticket, you gave up a lot of rights." That about sums up the attitude of the TSA and many branches of state and federal government, no? I assume that this sort of Constitutionally-negligent attitude comes from the top down at the TSA as well.

This morning, I tried to fly out of San Diego International Airport but was refused by the TSA. I had been somewhat prepared for this eventuality. I have been reading about the millimeter wave and backscatter x-ray machines and the possible harm to health as well as the vivid pictures they create of people's naked bodies. Not wanting to go through them, I had done my research on the TSA's website prior to traveling to see if SAN had them. From all indications, they did not. When I arrived at the security line, I found that the TSA's website was out of date. SAN does in fact utilize backscatter x-ray machines.
And the segment of video (3:45) where he tells the TSA official that,"if you touch my junk, I'll have you arrested":
After the segment above, John Tyner is detained and threatened with a civil suit and $10,000 fine by a TSA official.
All of this should come as no surprise given how many complaints Americans have recently voiced against the TSA. Beware of "conservatives" that could care less about this issue.

(WSJ) House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she has the “overwhelming support” of fellow Democrats in her bid to become minority leader in the next Congress, and says she’s not to blame for the Democrats’ mid-term debacle.
“We didn’t lose the election because of me,” Ms. Pelosi told National Public Radio in an interview that aired Friday morning. “Our members do not accept that.”
Instead, the California Democrat attributes the loss of at least 60 seats to high unemployment and “$100 million of outside, unidentified funding.”
“Any party that cannot turn (9.5% unemployment) into political gains should hang up the gloves,” she said.
Among those rooting for Ms. Pelosi to stick around are Republicans, who are giddy at the prospect of reprising in 2012 the attacks they used in the past election cycle, tying Democratic incumbents around the country to the liberal from San Francisco.
Ms. Pelosi’s reply: Bring it on. “The reason they had to take me down is because I’ve been effective in fighting special interests in Washington, D.C.,” Ms. Pelosi said, citing the health insurance and financial services industries. “I’m effective. They had to take me out. I’m also the most significant attractor to support for the Democrats.”
“So, I’m not looking back on this,” Ms. Pelosi said. “They asked me to run, I’m running. We don’t let the Republicans choose our leaders, and again, our members understand, they made me a target because I’m effective, politically and policy-wise.”
So let's get this straight. Nanny-Government-Nancy thinks that she has absolutely no culpability in Democrat losses on November 2. She also thinks that shadowy, outside conspiratorial funding is to blame for the Democrat rout. Beyond that as well she thinks that angry, unemployed folks that bolted GOP are to blame (how dare they vote against their own interests, better, rulers and philosopher-king superiors).
And, she is effective, because she rammed a disastrous health care takeover (that she wanted everyone to read to find what was in it) through the Congress.
Last night I wrapped up an article for Pajamas Media on California's CD-47. I focused on a funny bit of news related to the Van Tran campaign, here's the opener:

In search of the olfactory offense, I point the reader to a Van Tran mailer masquerading as a fragrance sampler, making its way to the mail boxes of likely voters in Garden Grove, Santa Ana, and Anaheim.

The folks in the Van Tran campaign were a pleasant bunch. After meeting them I could sense that they are having fun (easily evidenced by the humorous mailer too), working hard, and ready to win. At the same time, I gathered that they were perfectly able and willing to go back to normal life if the election doesn’t go their way on Tuesday.
Central command for Van Tran is set up in a foreclosed Blockbuster building in Garden Grove, a city of 175,000 in northern Orange County. The building was essentially stripped of most things that one would associate with the past life of movie rentals such as shelving and other interior structures. Although the sign had been removed, the outline of the letters B-L-O-C-K-B-U-S-T-E-R were still clearly discernible on the building’s stucco exterior.
It was somewhat dirty inside, a proverbial makeshift campaign war room with folding tables set up for walk-in volunteer phone bank folks. Van Tran signs were strewn graciously and haphazardly across the walls, and there was a constant buzz of activity. The accommodations were functional but not flashy.

If you are like me and voraciously following election news this week, you are most-likely exhausted of reading about the "head-stomping" incident involving a violent, paid, far-left batsh$t-crazy MoveOn.orger with a mile-long rapsheet and a Rand Paul supporter. The left has found it to be the cause célèbre of the final week election push - proving just how desperate, doomed and pathetic they truly are. In some ways I consider the issue a blessing as it is distracting hundreds of Soros-funded Bolshevik-bloggers at this point and Rand is going to easily win his race.
Lauren Valle (the MoveOn.org activist) has repeatedly claimed that she was just trying to get a signature and photograph from Rand Paul. She said this on MSNBC last night:
Well just before the tape I was identified by the Rand Paul campaign because they’ve seen me around town at these events. And they realized they know me because of my work and they don’t support it. So they actually formed a blockade around me once they realized that I was there. And as Rand’s car pulls up they step in front of me and start to block me so I stepped off the curb to try and get around them and at that point they pursued me around the car, chased me around the car, and what you see in the video is when I’m in the front of the car and that’s when I’m pulled down and then my head is stomped on.
She is an out-and-out liar.
The following video clearly shows Lauren Valle rushing Rand Paul's vehicle and pushing her sign into the car. A clearly dangerous, provocative act that completely discredits her version of the events. Hat-tip to Redstate:
I guess that Lauren Valle and MoveOn.org assumed that the rest of the video would never surface, this revelation easily disproves the 'angry-white-male-mob' that the Bolshevik bloggers are running with.
And for the record - though it won't matter to the trolls out there - it is never ok to step on someone's head. Tim Profitt should face serious penalties and the full extent of the law for doing so.
Storm clouds gather before the historic 2010 election

A new meme is developing that stormy skies in the Midwest, Southeast and Northeast may keep Democrats away from pols across the nation on November 2. The subtle reasoning for this is simple - folks that vote Democrat are so incredibly helpless that they cannot even brave bad weather to perform their civic duty.
Nothing shows the fall from our founding and rugged individualism quite like this. First, let's begin with this from The Hill:
According to Laurel Harbridge, a Northwestern University political science professor, GOP voters are not typically discouraged by rain. “Republicans are helped by bad weather ... it does harm Democratic prospects.”
What? Republicans are helped by bad weather? I thought that Republicans created bad weather on election day. Soros told me so!
Wendy Schiller, a political science professor at Brown University, echoed Harbridge. “Bad weather almost always hurts Democrats,” she said. “The traditional Democratic base tends to include lower-income people and the elderly. Both of those demographic groups have a hard time getting to the polls.”
Now we are getting closer to the gist of theme here. Many Democrat voters are poor and lazy. In fact, they are so lazy that they may not attempt to manage a bit of wet weather to protect taxpayer-funded goodies.
Forget the old people too, they clearly are defenseless as cumulonimbus clouds approach.
However, on a more serious not, riddle me this - are dead democratic voters less likely to show because of bad weather?
I would crawl over miles of broken glass mixed with rusty nails, under spiral barbed-wire and dodge the occasional land mine to vote for the future of this nation on November 2, wouldn't you?
Apparently the Democratic base's ballot box 'robbing form Peter to pay for Paul' credo doesn't elicit an equivalent degree of emotional response as fighting for the very survival of one's nation.

This week I sat down with Assemblyman Van Tran in Orange County for PJTV. I didn't used a teleprompter during our taped discussion, nor did he. Also, he noted to me that Loretta Sanchez needed one during the one and only debate that they took part in recently.

Senator Harry Reid and republican senate nominee Sharron Angle debated for the first and only time last night, October 14. Early this morning I watched the full video between the two and came away quite shocked at just how poorly Harry Reid performed. His performance, replete with gaffes, misspoken data and general awkwardness was quite unbecoming of a three-decade, veteran senate 'leader.' I was surprised at just how focused and on-point Angle was. For every Reid awkward moment, Angle went right for the jugular.
A vocal critic of Sharron Angle, the Las Vegas Sun, conceded that Angle flatly won the debate on several counts:

Angle won because she looked relatively credible, appearing not to be the Wicked Witch of the West (Christine O’Donnell is the good witch of the Tea Party) and scoring many more rhetorical points. And she won because Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid looked as if he could barely stay on a linear argument, abruptly switching gears and failing to effectively parry or thrust.
Whether the debate affects the outcome — I believe very few Nevadans are undecided — it also perfectly encapsulated the race: An aging senator who has mastered the inside political game but fundamentally does not seem to care about his public role (and is terrible at it) versus an ever-smiling political climber who can deliver message points but sometimes changes her message or denies a previous one even existed.
Even more puzzling, with the polls deadlocked and his career on the line, the four-term senator largely avoided engaging Angle. For a hard-nosed politician who prides himself on his youthful boxing exploits, he threw surprisingly few punches.
The former state assemblywoman and tea party favorite was, in her halting fashion, the aggressor of the evening, going after the incumbent with a series of tough attacks.

Where is the feminist outrage? As Dan Riehl noted, when a staffer to Alaskan GOP senate candidate Joe Miller likened rival Lisa Murkowski's potential Libertarian party bid to the "oldest profession in the world," the feminist reaction was swift, just and vocal.
What would be the equivalent to this from a conservative group? I can't think of a better example of NOW being a front group for leftist-extremist causes and 'standing by their man' no matter what. How 'feminist' is that? Sounds more like battered wife syndrome to me.
A couple of things come to mind in regards to the Bill Maher, "Real Time" HBO segment below. First, it's another instant classic (but not as good as the most recent) from Andrew Breitbart. Who else could nail Bill Maher on his idiotic claim that he is a 'libertarian' while espousing all of the statist, neo-Bolshevik garbage that he continually does. Second, isn't it nice to see liberals (in Hollywood, congress, wherever) admit that they think that European socialism is a preferred frame of government and life to what we have enjoyed in the United States since our founding?:
Honestly, this guy should give seminars to Republicans on how to man-up and deal with crazy people.
When you watch videos of Christie, we want you to do something that you might think sounds silly at first, but we’re serious and real here.
When you watch Chris Christie in action, in a clip like this, we want you to sit back and think about how YOU can be more like him in your OWN lives. Particularly when dealing with YOUR elected officials.
Christie is always professional and, in our opinion, polite to the people he dresses down. But the man knows his stuff, is on his game, and is hyper-confident and aggressive. There is no mousing around issues. He does not let people get away with any garbage. It is The Chris Christie show wherever he goes and we wish conservatives coast to coast were just like this.
I found some great background information and more details on Orange County, California's 47th Congressional district Van Tran. As explained here recently, Van Tran (pictured left) faces six term Democratic Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez. Loretta Sanchez has come under fire recently for telling Spanish-only Univision that "The Vietnamese and the Republicans are trying to take away this seat from us."
Born in Saigon, South Vietnam, in 1964, Mr. Tran and his family were evacuated by U.S. forces shortly before the fall of South Vietnam in 1975. His childhood experience with oppressive regimes, he said, made him a conservative, and he is running for Congress to protect those values. "Having been a product of the Vietnam government, where the regime was dictatorial and oppressive, I understand the need for less government regulation," he said. "Encroachment of government on virtually every aspect of American life has inspired me to run for Congress."
Mr. Tran said the role of government is to empower the American people, to empower the family, to empower small businesses. The 47th is a very blue-collar district, so the biggest issues for voters are jobs and the economy. Mr. Tran said he would address those issues by reducing restrictions on small business and cutting taxes. "As a state assemblyman I have worked to make it easier for small businesses to hire, gotten rid of regulations and fee structures. ... That is what I would do at the federal level."
He opposes the original federal stimulus package – the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act – because he said it is full of pork and imposed more debt and other burdens on the economy than opportunity for job creators. Policies like the stimulus shift the debt to future generations and by supporting them we are "mortgaging the future of our country." He said, "We can't throw money at a recession to fix it."
Mr. Tran said the 47th District is a perfect example of the failings of government stimulus spending because jobs promised for the district have not materialized. Mr. Tran similarly opposes the government bailouts and the Obamacare health care reform program.

Interesting that the New York Times would write about, much less acknowledge the upcoming conservative documentary "I Want Your Money" directed by conservative director, writer and talent, Ray Griggs (pictured at left).
Michael Cieply writes (in rare, somewhat fair and accurate fashion at the New York Times):
According to Mr. Griggs, some prospective crew members on his new documentary, “I Want Your Money,” which takes aim at President Obama’s economic policies, said they would accept jobs on the condition that their names be left off the credits. Mr. Griggs suspects that a politically motivated makeup artist even tried to sabotage the movie by giving him a distinctly unflattering look.
But his film, like “Fahrenheit” before it, is now to be released in a heated political season. And that is at least a minor triumph for one of the less visible minorities: the Hollywood right.
Scheduled by Freestyle Releasing to open in about 500 theaters on Oct. 15, “I Want Your Money” is a long shot, even in the wobbly world of documentaries.
“I have no agent, no manager,” said Mr. Griggs, a soft-spoken 36-year-old, discussing his film over coffee here last week. He added: “I had nothing to lose. My phone is not ringing off the hook from the studios.”
Ah, yes. McCarthyism is alive and well these days. Too bad it doesn't hardly fit the leftist narrative though. As in the 'Dark Days of McCarthy', anyone even slightly right of center in Tinsel Town is either forced to dine in the shadows, as it were, with their beliefs, or risk coming out of the closet and then suffering the Modern Day McCarthyism that ensues. The only exception to this McCarthy rule are actors that are so big that nearly nothing can touch them (including scandal). Then again, being a conservative or libertarian in Hollywood is considered something far beyond scandalous and even the most egregious crime against humanity.
By contrast, there is Davis Guggenheim’s “Waiting for Superman,” a documentary to be released by Paramount Vantage on Sept. 24, and Alex Gibney’s “Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer,” due from Magnolia Pictures on Nov. 5. Both films come from past Oscar winners with strong progressive credentials. Mr. Guggenheim, whose film takes on the country’s education system, was honored for his environmental manifesto, “An Inconvenient Truth,” and Mr. Gibney for his examination of torture in the war on terror, in “Taxi to the Dark Side.” The new Guggenheim and Gibney films have the advantage of heavily promoted showings at the Toronto International Film Festival this month.
Mr. Griggs is best known as the filmmaker behind “Super Capers,” a superhero comedy that took in a few tens of thousands of dollars when Roadside Attractions released it in 2009.
Yet the trailer for “I Want Your Money” has grabbed more than two million views since it was first posted in early August, promising attention to a film that stands unabashedly to the right.
“This is a perfect grass-roots project, because it’s hitting a nerve,” said Paul Lauer, the founder of Motive Entertainment, a consulting firm that organized marketing for Mel Gibson’s hit “The Passion of the Christ,” and is now working with Mr. Griggs. The plan, Mr. Lauer said, is to screen “I Want Your Money” in the next month for conservative opinion makers and political groups. The aim is to catch the attention of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck, Mr. Griggs said..
The tone of the film, which Mr. Griggs directed and helped write, is a little softer than that of those three conservative commentators. Its central argument is a straightforward case for the virtues of smaller government and the futility of efforts to redistribute wealth. But its charm, if that word can apply to political documentary, comes from computer-generated animations in which bobbing-headed political figures, designed by Tom Richmond of Mad Magazine, try to school one another on the ins and outs of policy.
Animated politicians on both sides of the aisle — Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton, Sarah Palin, the older and younger George Bushes — all take some good-natured hits. Ronald Reagan offers Mr. Obama a couple of jelly beans, but Mr. Obama figures he’s already entitled to half, and so on.
Mr. Griggs narrates, with an assist from interviewees who include Steve Forbes, John Stossel and Michael Reagan. The film was self-financed for about $500,000, while a number of investors — who are not well known or backed by political candidates or apparatus, Mr. Griggs said — created a somewhat larger fund for prints and advertising.
Raised almost entirely in Germany until he was 17, Mr. Griggs, the son of an Air Force officer, said he learned political lessons by observing life in Europe while absorbing American culture from afar. On returning to the United States, he worked at a television station in Missouri, then began his own business, making commercials and corporate videos.
His formal introduction to politics, Mr. Griggs said, came with his work as a campaign manager, then staff member, for Rob Schaaf, a Republican in the Missouri House of Representatives. Mr. Griggs was known for whimsical campaign ads that had Mr. Schaaf talking from the bottom of a coffee cup.
Mr. Griggs said his ultimate, long-held dream was to make a film based on the story of Lucifer. More immediately, he has begun pulling together plans for a live-action version of “The Wind in the Willows,” with help from Weta Digital, the New Zealand studio in which Peter Jackson is a partner.
While working on those projects, however, Mr. Griggs said he became alarmed by what he saw as runaway spending in Washington, and so decided the documentary would come first.
Remember, always support your conservative brothers and sisters (the rare and few) in Hollywood - and especially those brave enough to buck the crowd and produce something that shines the light on The Chosen One.

Following the embarrassing news that Mayor Dave Bing’s GMC Yukon was hijacked by criminals this week, Detroit’s Channel 7 reports that the Reverend’s Caddy Escalade SUV was stolen and stripped of its wheels while he was in town last weekend with the UAW’s militant President Bob King leading the “Jobs, Justice, and Peace” march promoting government-funded green jobs.
Good Lord that runs the gamut of leftist hypocrisy, no? Think about it - Jesse Jackson was in Detroit to promote the second biggest shakedown in the nation (next to race pimping) --- the government-coerced 'green' jobs collusion, in cahoots with the UAW (picture at left).
He showed up in a Bling-Bling-gas-hogging Cadillac Escalade, which was promptly stolen and stripped down to the bones (probably five minutes after he parked it).
Jesse's car theft makes perfect sense because government coerced 'green' garbage and the UAW cabal forced Detroit to it's knees and the end of the line in the world's competitive car market. Detroit - once a vibrant, successful city is now a crime ridden cesspool with no employment opportunity other than stealing cars, drugs, prostitution (like Jesse) and other nefarious activities.
What a disgusting man this is. A whore for leftist causes (above all) with a racial flair (when it suits his needs) that only the press has given power and clemency to (otherwise he would be a used car salesman). But then again, if he can get away with this then he isn't accountable for anything.
