Thoughts on the OCCUPY WALL STREET folks

The parallels between the Tea Party demonstrations and the Occupy Wall Street rallies are glaring.

To begin with, they both occurred on American soil.

Second, someone was wearing a blue shirt.

I could go on all day.

It’s obvious – painfully obvious – that these low-life, do-nothing, unproductive, incoherent, unkempt, screeching, jealous, whiny retro-Woodstock hairballs not only have no idea what the hell they're protesting, they have absolutely no sense of civility or decency ... or soap.

And exactly how do these moral crusaders attempt to give their own unsatisfying existences some semblance of meaning and purpose? By disrupting the lives of those who are productive members of society, of course. 

Makes perfect sense, doesn’t it?

These tragically uninformed knee-jerk, hippie-wanna-bes, craving relevance, fantasizing about the golden age of war protests, bed-ins and hairy armpits have set up shop on the streets of New York for what seems like forever. 

And now, it's spreading: Angry, entitled, spoiled-brat indoctrinated neo-nuts and their socially-conscious anarchist brethren indulging their narcissistic impulses under the guise of humanitarianism. In Sacramento, they don't even really know why they're there. Organizer Anthony Bondi says they're still trying to come up with a reason for being there.

No, really.

In Tampa, protesters didn't even bother to set-up camp overnight. They simply went home after a hard day of bitching. They must not get HBO in the park. But they have promised to return ... perhaps after a nice hot shower and satisfying breakfast.

Back here in New York, these dynamos have stayed. Growing sanitation concerns aside, they're definitely making their mark.

It's clear that they are the only people in the entire universe who really matter; just ask them. For all of their concern about their fellow man, how many have bothered to lift a ladle in a soup kitchen, or volunteer at an old folks home, or go to a VA hospital, or work at a food bank. How many have bothered to temporarily walk away from his or her occupation of Wall Street to actually care for a fellow human being in need? Instead, these self-proclaimed arbiters of societal cognizance and true awareness have slept in public parks, littered the streets, agonized over how to acquire sleeping bags without having to reward some capitalist pig, upset the lives of others, and cost God-knows-how-much money to the public.

How’s that’s for compassion for one’s fellow man?

These people have failed to acknowledge that there are, indeed, other human beings in this world besides themselves - that their wants (i.e., demands) are precisely what they are supposedly protesting against: getting stuff at the expense of others. Rush Limbaugh accurately points out that in asking for donations from those who actually succeed and make money, these leeches are having to rely on the very system they are crying out against so that they can continue to protest that same system. Meanwhile, they've spewed vulgarities and bellowed and belly-ached liked spoiled-brat children.  

Best of all, some of them have been fortunate enough - nay, privileged enough - to attain the highest level of social consciousness: They’ve gotten themselves arrested. These jailbirds now have a story to tell their out-of-wedlock grandchildren in the years to come. 

“Now, gather 'round while grandpa tells you about the time we taught those money-grubbin’ fat cats a lesson. Come and sit down right here ... but don’t get too close. I’m combing out my ponytail.”

These people not only come across as the dumbest bunch of lint-brains ever to bitch and moan about nothing, they now have the support of American big labor.

Gee, what a surprise.

Thugs and scum, joined at the hip.

All they need is an official government endorsement.

Oh wait ….None other than the Fed Chief himself, Ben Bernanke, has come along to say that he really can't blame the protestors, that they have some justification.

There you go.

I’m sure someone in Congress is currently drafting a bill calling for a national holiday commemorating the American protestor.

And what exactly is the justification in the minds (used loosely) of these empty-skulled, rag-tag, deodorant-deprived dregs of the entitlement-culture for making life inconvenient for everyone else by sleeping in the park, groaning about corporate-this and big-business-that, using profanity, harassing passers-by, and flashing vulgar signs?

These brick-for-brains coddled momma-boys and daddy's princesses - reminiscent of the mostly upper middle class, directionless hoodlums who raised hell during England’s riots not too long ago - have their bumper-sticker rhymes all memorized, their moronic, university-inspired disjointed theories about corporate America and big business all subject to instant recall, and their pre-adolescent, intellectually challenged set of “demands” all worked out.

They're comical, if not thoroughly unintelligible. (I'll get to a couple of those in a moment).

If only Joan Baez would show up.

They consider themselves heroic. They long to be history-makers, remembered in story and song like their campus thumping predecessors of the 1960s, talked fondly of on VH1 retrospectives, imagining there’s no heaven or countries or possessions. They are the apple of Michael Moore’s eye (who, incidentally, has yet to return any of his ill-gotten corporate profits), the love of Susan Sarandon’s heart (who was whisked away to her private jet after making a seventeen second appearance the other day), and the new easily-manipulated tools of big labor.

These gutter skunks are disgusting parasites concerned only with what they can get out of others.

And now that the likes of the AFL-CIO and the UAW are suddenly on board with the brain-dead unwashed, one wonders if these squawking bottom-feeders, who openly express their hatred for the entities of power that rape and crush the common folk, realize that there are no more powerful entities in American life than the modern labor unions, none more controlling.

Remember, unions can put pressure on (i.e., intimidate) the common man like no one else can. They can make life miserable for folks who do not comply, and they can keep people from being able to make a living. There is no democracy in a union. And shame on you if you fail to grasp that there are plenty of "fat cats" at the top of the union chain, living off the dues of others. 

Surely, these well-versed beacons of wisdom and knowledge understand that, no?

By contrast, no one on Wall Street – not a corporation, a CEO, a president, a chairman of the board or even a lowly salesperson – can force you to do or buy anything. Corporations cannot come to your home and take away your rights, or demand dues just to be able to work.

These protestors are the ultimate “blame everyone else for my failures” lobbyists. They suffer life’s indignities and hardships (or more accurately, they believe they suffer), but instead of attempting to lift themselves up, they prefer to see everyone around them brought down.

It's so much easier to moan than try.

It’s the way of the left.

And they feel entitled … simply for breathing.

Remember Madison, Wisconsin?

That entire affair was nothing more than a case of public employees demanding that their fellow citizens shut up and agree to have more money siphoned from their paychecks.

With the unions now dipping their toes into this Occupy Wall Street pool, one can only imagine how heralded these protests will become in the eyes on the lame-stream media.

As expected, no one at the alphabet channels has the guts to even do a rudimentary analysis of their so-called demands. The fact that they’re protesting and using words like “corporate greed,” and “justice” automatically gives these leeches a degree of credibility never ever afforded the Tea Party movement, who actually have a constitutional basis for the grievances, not an emotionally contrived one.

Man, these people are tremendously confused. It’s almost comical.

Yes, they want Obama re-elected, but wasn’t it Wall Street that poured tons of green into Obama’s presidential campaign?

Huh?

They talk about a new American Revolution, carrying the torch passed on to them by the Founding Fathers, but they denounce Capitalism and free markets.

What?

They want higher tariffs on imported goods from other nations, but demand dissolution of the borders. If such a thing were to happen, there wouldn't be any nations, right? 

Do these people think or just react?

What the hell are these hyper-pierced, uncombed masses of derangement talking about?

Down with corporations, they scream.

Aren’t corporations made up of people? Food-consuming, shelter-seeking, child-raising, clothes-wearing people?

Who makes the cardboard they use for their signs?

Or the ink used to paint their catchy slogans?

Or the Yoo Hoo cans they urinate in?

I assume they cannot accepting donations because to do so means they would have to participate in the Capitalist system they so abhor. They must be rummaging through garbage cans for plastic water bottles and scooping curb water from the streets to sustain themselves.

Are they hand-knitting toilets as well?

Moore: Protesters Have 'Aroused a Sleeping Giant'

Mr. Moore: How much do you actually know about what you're talking about?

Yes, Michael Moore, that scion of dishonest editing and legendary corpulence has told a crowd of cheering Lilliputians that they have awakened a "sleeping giant".

Protesters in Madison have "aroused a sleeping giant" in the national fight for workers' rights, filmmaker Michael Moore told thousands at the Capitol Square on Saturday, as rallies opposing Gov. Scott Walker's budget proposals wrapped up their third week. "Right now the Earth is shaking and the ground is shifting under the feet of those who are in charge," said Moore, the Oscar-winning maker of "Bowling for Columbine," whose documentaries also include "Fahrenheit 911" and "Capitalism: A Love Story." "America is not broke ... Wisconsin is not broke," Moore said. "The only thing that's broke is the moral compass of the rulers."

Like nearly everything else, Moore gets this all completely backwards. The country is broke. Many of the states are broke, and the "sleeping giant" they have awakened is the American taxpayer, who is expected to pick up the tab for the large living of those in the public sector.

Mr. Moore may be shielded from the unpleasantries of unemployment and government spending run amok, thanks to the millions garnered from his fauxcumentaries, but if he would ever crack open a book or a newspaper (anything but another package of Ho-Ho's), he might learn that spending more than one takes in leads to poverty...being "broke", in the vernacular. His favorite president has spent the country to the near brink of disaster, pushed farther and faster by pandering to the "Green" Wing of the Democrat party.

Moore is clearly either delusional in his grasp of the current Obama economy and mood of the taxpaying public, or he's testing the waters to see just how brain dead his fans are, to gauge how far removed from reality his next fauxcumentary* can be and still make money.

* Fauxcumentary: Art form developed by Michael Moore, using dishonest editing to propagandize whichever cause he feels will make him the most money. Sometimes abbreviated "Faux cu".

You have to love how Maddow just sits there and listens....like Moore is the Oracle of the Left, some kind of pharao-esque spiritual leader with transcendental thoughts....oh, he's so brilliant.

It's amazing that Michael Moore cites statistics of low crime rates in areas of the country where there is also high rates of gun ownership. Why do you think that is, Mr. Moore? Could it be precisely because these areas have high gun ownership? Why do areas like Los Angeles and Washington DC -- places with the most stringent gun control laws -- also have the highest incidents of "gun violence"?

I would so love to sit down with this guy at a burger joint (he'd have to buy, I don't think I could afford it otherwise), and have a back and forth, reasoned debate; a non sequitir-free zone. I wonder what it would look like? I wonder how Moore and would argue against my assertion that the right to bear arms is as basic and fundamental a right as freedom of speech and even more, that the bearing of arms -- by good, decent, lawful citizens -- is actually the most effective crime prevention program ever invented in the history of the free world?

WikiLeaks: Cuba Banned Sicko for Depicting 'Mythical' Healthcare System

Cuba banned Michael Moore's 2007 documentary, Sicko, because it painted such a "mythically" favourable picture of Cuba's healthcare system that the authorities feared it could lead to a "popular backlash", according to US diplomats in Havana.

I've always said that liberals were irony impaired, but can you see the irony in banning a film that was supposedly a "documentary", (Redundancy alert!) a film which supposedly, honestly depicts things as they really are, being banned because the subjects of the documentary might react negatively to the fact that it simply wasn't true? In fact, it was so far from true as to be described as "mythical"? That such care was NOT available to them?

The revelation, contained in a confidential US embassy cable released by WikiLeaks , is surprising, given that the film attempted to discredit the US healthcare system by highlighting what it claimed was the excellence of the Cuban system.

But the memo reveals that when the film was shown to a group of Cuban doctors, some became so "disturbed at the blatant misrepresentation of healthcare in Cuba that they left the room".

Castro's government apparently went on to ban the film because, the leaked cable claims, it "knows the film is a myth and does not want to risk a popular backlash by showing to Cubans facilities that are clearly not available to the vast majority of them."

Wow. Aren't documentary makers supposed to, I don't know, document stuff? When you start making stuff up to make a point, don't you slip over into becoming a propagandist?

The cable describes a visit made by the FSHP to the Hermanos Ameijeiras hospital in October 2007. Built in 1982, the newly renovated hospital was used in Michael Moore's film as evidence of the high-quality of healthcare available to all Cubans.

But according to the FSHP, the only way a Cuban can get access to the hospital is through a bribe or contacts inside the hospital administration. "Cubans are reportedly very resentful that the best hospital in Havana is 'off-limits' to them," the memo reveals.

According to the FSHP, a more "accurate" view of the healthcare experience of Cubans can be seen at the Calixto Garcia Hospital. "FSHP believes that if Michael Moore really wanted the 'same care as local Cubans', this is where he should have gone," the cable states.

A 2007 visit by the FSHP to this "dilapidated" hospital, built in the 1800s, was "reminiscent of a scene from some of the poorest countries in the world," the cable adds.

Conservatives have known for a long time that Moore was a big, fat liar, er, a large, dietary and factually challenged individual. His dishonest editing of his earlier work should have gotten him kicked out of Hollywood.

The irony becomes complete, when you consider that Michel Moore has offered to go the bail on the wikileaker himself, Julian Assange. Well, before this latest "leak" he was!

On his website today Michael Moore has said that Cuba did not ban his documentary,

Because, denial is not just a river in Egypt.

Update: Moore claims: "The entire nation of Cuba was shown the film on national television"

Unfortunately, The entire nation of Cuba does not own television sets. 75-80% of the population does not. I would imagine that the top 20-25% of income earners have both TVs and access to better health care than the populace at large.

I'll have to look into that statistic, and see if it is households with (a) TV set or just the number of TVs per capita. If it is the latter, then, anyone with multiple sets would mean an even smaller percentage of the populace would have access to anything broadcast.

LCR Exclusive: Director Mike Wilson of Michael Moore Hates America

Recently I just happened to come across a brilliant conservative documentary titled Michael Moore Hates America via Netflix on the family Wii console. Filmed in 2004 but still highly relevant, the movie was charming, interesting, funny and best of all - entertaining. The flick didn't brow beat it's particular angle on iconic leftist Michael Moore but more or less laid things out in a fair way - despite the title.


After viewing Michael Moore Hates America (and loving it), I put on my Google-search-cap and hunted down director Mike Wilson's contact. I wanted to fire him off a atta-boy and a quick request for an interview. Proving that sometimes all you have to do is ask - Mr. Wilson quickly responded and accepted my invitation for a Q&A.
